the levels arent extremely creative when it comes to the fact I literally just clicked like hell and aimed anywhere, spamming in this game is extremely effective, plus i think the music has over lapped cos it sounds pretty bad :/

controls 2/5, the gun was too powerful

graphics 4/5 good but not shockingly amazing

music 3/5 fun, but a little unfitting

theme 3/5 either its just because its almost christmas or that penguins rule, but i gave you 4 for that, but the game doesnt fit it well so im giving you a 3/5

story 4/5 simple, fun, creative. I know some people like a plot better than just for fun but this could be pretty funny if you added to the sotry line at the beggining

sound effects 2/5 there wasnt alot, I would like it if when the guy wakes up he makes a stupidish "uhh?" sound.

great effort for a game, I've seen games that are 100x worse than this, but then again I've seen games 100x better.
this game is fun, a little too short and it looks like you've put a fair amount of effort in, good job :)
there are no bugs which I am very happy about, there are some amazing games and they are just ruined by a bug :/

keep making more :)

maybe animate the guy with his 'star ball'
and perhaps allow the shooting to be done with the mouse, it is hard to aim when you use the saem buttons to move -.-

(try to make the charecter have another ability, e.g. dash so he can dodge easier, plus it makes the game less limiting)

good animation but the physics are a little hard to work with, and the gameplay is limited by quite alot, regardless, a well made fun minigame that I would play alot in my spare time :)

it has potential, but its far too hard to get rid of the red things, and i feel restricted, I think it'd be nice if you had a bit more space :)
regardless nice concept, fun charecter, fun graphics, not annoying music but slightly dull music, which is good for this kind of game cos fast music is offputting :) I also feel you should get a few powerups (not to pick up cos the screen will get tooo cluttere and the game will get frustrating) I mean like every 2 or 2 difficulty levels you get a sheild that lasts for 5 seconds (five second fun is a good way to mix things up a bit ;p), I'm going to keep playing and see if i can spot anything else :) nice game :D

Hey thanks for the feedback. I definitely thought about a lot of various options but in the end I was trying to go old retro idea where the game is kept pretty simply about the base mechanics and difficulty curve. I find that often today too many game designers jam in upgrades without thought as to the overall game and game mechanics. You also have to call a game finished at some point because you can tweak anything forever! Thanks for the review and critical thoughts.

cute game, The house represents you, the garage is your feelings and such, people tried to break in to see if theres something wrong when they could've just 'used the front door', the sheet outside, click on it and it says,"help them up (pick up the petals), dust them off (dust off the top shelf) and something about a relation ship (checfk your computer), then go outside :), the game starts again from there :/

I just wish it was alot less confusing in what the stats do... Like I know what intellegence means...but how would that affect a fight? surely the only things that generally affect a fight would be the strength speed and defense... anyway, loved it, the voices were cool but a bit over the top and the music was annoying after a while; regardless Sweet game! Loved it!

got 3 medals, 2 ways of killing and the one where you get 'creative' with the candle and knife...having a nice time figuring the other ones out :L

amazing game :3 not too confusing like the one with the air vents you have to crawl around in. I have just used up half an hour of my time....and LOVED it! :)

and later on can you do a 'win a doll' competition where if someone comes up with the best story idea including dialouge and images of the scenes and how to coplete the game, then they win a reincarnation doll. :)

I believe this is due to it loading the game still, the bottom left says transferring data from newgrounds, and I can press the X which stops loading the page and goes to the previous one, also This has happened before and it just turned out to be the game loading; In conclusion anyone with this problem, just wait.

OMG i scrolled up and the games loading still but least the screen isnt white
